Cybertext Killed the Hypertext Star
((CyberText)) denotes not all possible networks of lexia, but the more general set of text machines. These machines are operated by readers, and depending upon how they are operated they present different outputs, different texts for reading. The cybertext category therefore contains hypertext, which is operated by means of clicking and traversing links, but it is much broader.
Should therefore include (I suppose) HyperText, ChatBots and other conversational interfaces, games, CuteWebGenerators, text-editors with macros, skeletons, boilerplate, templating systems.
