Throw your old organic rubbish into the compost heap. Worms will crawl through it, chewing it up, excreting, mixing the chemicals, breaking them down into FinerGrained, more useful stuff.

Last night I was excited to discover Compost is pattern 178 in ChristopherAlexander's "A PatternLanguage".
