There's a discussion going around as to whether blogs are "male" and wikis are "female". I personally don't like to trade in gender stereotypes, however sensitively handled, but we'll have this page to link to the story.

OTOH, in JoiIto's comments Shelley points out Studies have been made of blogging and have found that 50% or more of all webloggers, journalists or 'bloggers' implied categorization aside, are women; however, men are given disproportionate attention. Why? Good question, someone let me know when there's a good answer.
