As you can tell from the terminology, it's very anti TextPeople and people who talk well (OnRhetoric). "wordcels" is intended to invoke Incels

Wordcels are people who are good with words. Shape rotators are people who are good with math and abstract thought.

Why do people associated shapes and visual thinking with abstract thought? You can get way more abstract with symbols. It's why maths moved from geometry to algebra.
