Thread by VinayGupta on SmallHouses (see HexaYurt page) reminds me of when I visited the Recoleta Cemetery in BuenosAires, my first thought was "I'd love to live here"

It's an absolutely perfect small town of beautiful tiny "houses". I'm sure you could build viable sleeping huts on that scale and pack them this densely.

All the tombs are the size of a (tall) beach-hut. They're varied, creative, covered with sculptures.

Large enough for a small sleeping space, bit of storage & bathroom. (Eat on outdoor tables/chairs in the street or a close cafe.)

This is a viable urban infrastructure.

I'm not saying this gothy theme would suit everyone.

But I certainly believe, small houses, densely packed, with ReallyNarrowStreets and a vibe is workable.

I'd love to see someone try to build a tiny estate in this format. And if it were in the right place, I'd totally move there.
