Can everyone be a property owner?

Clearly everyone can have stuff. What I mean is, can everyone be a property owner in the sense of having property which accumulates in value, which you can rent out or otherwise get some kind of income from?

I guess they can own different things and rent each other what they don't have. (See also TheAgeOfAccess).
