When Momus needed money to pay a fine for defamation of character, he invented a new economic model of pop music. Flattering song portraits of patrons who stumped up $1000 each.
NB : the song about JeffKoons on StarsForever was not commissioned, but, in a deliberate echo of similar efforts by renaissance painters, done as a speculative attempt to win patronage from Koons.
