Fascinating. Hadn't heard of him. But I spent a year working on an experimental EmergencyDecisionSupportSystem at LloydsRegisterOfShipping back in 1992. Problem was we had no idea of the web-technology or standards which were just appearing. We thought of it all in terms of DDE between Windows applications, and storing the data in the US Defense Department's monstrous InteractiveElectronicTechnicalManual mark-up format.
Don't suppose it ever got built.
