Yes, it's biliously ugly with its radioactive green & purple, and gloomy black & sepia.
Yes, it's incoherent and confusing. And fails to communicate what a listener can expect.
But today I fixed the two album covers that I didn't like so much, and which had been bugging me for a while.
And now, NGL, I love it.
It's darkly beautiful in its own sickly way.
And "ugly and confusing, but sickly beautiful" is kind of where the music is too. (At least I hope so)
I finally feel I have a look that's "appropriate". That's coming together with the music, to make a kind of bizarre coherence.
