ListenToTheMachines

I regard Techno as an umbrella term for a number of musics all of which stem from the strategy of listening to the music that the machines want to make.

Techno started in the late 70s when a new generation of NonMusician wanted to make music. Without sufficient technique to impose their idea of musical structure on the machines, these people were obliged to listen to the innate musical structure of the machines. Often these NonMusicians discovered music which an earlier generation of musicians had suppressed.
