YASNS do two things with social networks :

• make them explicit
• make them manipulable

But SocialNetworksAreNotMarkets, so "openness" which is a virtue of markets is not necessarily a virtue for networks.

Hence, as is in-line with NetoCracy theory, there are going to be private and exclusive social networks which give people some of the advantages of making their social networks explicit and manipulable but don't necessarily make it public.
