Two rival approaches to ArtificialIntelligence (ReadWith) TypesOfCollectiveIntelligence

• Connectionism = various forms of NeuralNetworks / AgoricSystems which use large groups of simple ("dumb") units with a lot of the intelligence distributed among the weighted connections or the temporary interactions of the units.

• GOFAI (GoodOldFashionedArtificialIntelligence) = the various sorts of ExpertSystems or systems based on models that capture the structure of the problem and logical inferences over those models.
