I was wondering about this recently in the context of all those camps (FooCamp, RecentChangesCamp, HyperCamp etc.) It seems like people I read in the blogosphere are continuously on the conference and camp circuit. Are they spending their holiday time on it or does it count as work? Or a bit of both? And are family getting dragged along in liew of a "real" holiday.

Has "holiday" essentially been colonized by "work"?
