2022: Why is pound collapsing?

Well beyond UKConservatives and Brexit this theory is that UK is too dependent on energy imports, so when energy prices go up, UK economy gets inflation. Rest of Europe is in same boat, but slower.

Now that there's been an explosion in NordstreamPipelines Europe can't go back to importing Russian gas cheap.
