I'm more skeptical. Compare :

• NetoCracy/MediaAgainstTheState theorizes that voter apathy is part of an attack by networks against government. More (even more accessable) media isn't going to fix that basic conflict of geometry. The problem with all EmergentDemocracy is it isn't "democratic" it's "netocratic".
• TheLeftTheoryOfDisagreement. The challenge facing left / progressives isn't how to get mass movements (even mass voting or mass decision making) but building structures to contain diversity. (CollectiveActionProblems)
