I have some sympathy for these people. I don't believe genuinely utopian experiments deserve our scorn.

OTOH ... RightLibertarians do tend towards naivity because they so consistently underestimage / ignore the degree that things really work in our world because of so much government regulation and state control. So they're always being caught out either by regulations they didn't think were there. Or by problems that regulations actually control but now they've dispensed with.

This is a rather mean thread, based (I presume) on article above. Laughing at the project.

But it makes a lot of good points. Clearly the people really don't understand anything about the maritime environment, either physical or legal.
