We need an API standard for AIAgents to use other apps.
The problem is the war for attention.
This presents app developers with a dilemma. Opening their services up to the big tech companies’ AI might mean losing their direct relationships with users. But trying to stand apart could result in their being shut out of the new digital ecosystems that are likely to coalesce around AI agents.

Apps (and especially web services undergoing Enshittification) increasingly try to hold the user's attention as much as possible, and to distractingly upsell users to skim ever more money and attention out of them.
