A Post-Punk / Early Industrial music that evolved to bring in (typically English) folk elements. (Acoustic guitar, historical, pastoral elements)

When it's good it is very weird and striking.

I'm a big fan of leading Neofolk band Current93.

Not so much of Death in June (who are way too much in the Apoliteic direction with a lot of fascist / neonazi references.)

The following is an interesting comparison between them though, which I think sounds largely plausible.
