Whenever you think about the meta-level conditions for systems, we have a clash of ideas of freedom. Freedom at the normal level, or freedom to change the freedoms at the normal level.

• Should a democracy be able to vote for a dictator?

• In which software license is more FreeAsInSpeech : a license which allows people downstream to close derrivatives (as with BSD) or a license which constrains people to keep it free?

• Think about ConformityVsDiversityOfPlatforms and the DigitalDivide. Which is better, to force everyone to accept a platform which is free. (eg. a FreeMarket) or to allow a multiplicity of markets and moneys, including less free ones?
