Alleged attempt by UK (and US) secret services to implant propaganda in media

Seems to be a focus on anti-Russia propaganda. But we must also wonder whether the above expose is influenced by pro-Russia propaganda.

There was a huge propaganda / disinformation conflict around what was really going on in Syria. Partly splitting the liberal and left. (See for example JimmyDore's ongoing attempt to reject claims that Assad used chemical weapons etc. which has got him into a lot of conflicts with others on the left)

Obviously in light of RussianInvasionOfUkraine2022 we need to ask a lot of questions about both pro and anti Russian propaganda. Note how the 2018 article I linked focuses on "Western attempts to normalize neonazis in Ukraine"
