The problem is the effort of installing and managing them. Instead they should be more like web-pages, just coming into your "browser" as an when appropriate (and wanted, I hope).

Of course, unlike a web-page they won't be at a URL style address, they'll have to be at some address which makes sense relative to where you are. For example : "directly in-front" or "the building I just entered".

They still have to be AddressableThings
