This is a good joke, but a serious point. It's like Penn & Teller say : people don't predict the trick because they can't imagine someone went to "that much trouble".

We instinctively dismiss conspiracies that seem to require too much coordination to make them work.\1

But we also know that IT is making co-ordination and transaction costs cheaper and easier.

So we probably DO need to recalibrate our intuitions as to how much conspiracy is "unfeasible" because it's "too much effort". \end
